Our new train table will be the feature toy in our transportation station for children learning about vehicles and participating in cooperative play. I also have some students who will engage in parallel play with this unique resource. Additionally, I was concerned about how to conduct circle time due to Covid restrictions not allowing students to sit on the same carpet together. The individual colored squares would be so impactful because they can still attend circle time sitting on a carpet (as opposed to the bare floor). I will also be able to space the squares out to follow Covid guidelines.
