This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for supporting our beginning-of-the-year classroom needs!

I am requesting essential supplies like dry erase markers, construction paper, facial tissues, hand soap, and hand sanitizer to support learning and hygiene.

I’m also requesting real stainless steel utensils—forks and teaspoons—for our students to use during meals. Using real tableware instead of disposable plastic teaches responsibility, promotes independence, and models environmental sustainability in a tangible, age-appropriate way.

To support cleanliness and teach care of the environment, we are also requesting a Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum. In our early childhood classroom, we sit, work, and read on area rugs daily. Young children frequently spill crumbs and bits of paper, and we want to ensure a clean, healthy space for learning and movement. A durable, high-quality vacuum like the Dyson allows us to quickly and effectively clean our rugs each day—without the need to constantly replace unreliable models. Its cordless design and powerful suction make it ideal for the daily upkeep of our shared classroom spaces.

Other supplies like paper towels, disinfecting wipes, dish soap, glue sticks, watercolor sets, tempera paints, no-spill paint cups, and latex-free gloves support both hands-on learning and the health of our classroom community. The Montessori-style bookshelf helps us create a literacy-rich environment where children can independently explore books. Items like cardstock, construction paper and Play-Doh round out our creative offerings and help children express themselves joyfully and meaningfully.

These resources are more than supplies—they help us build a well-rounded, respectful classroom culture where children care for themselves, each other, and the earth. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to partnering with you.
