My Project

Hey folks! In our second-grade gang, we're revving up our reading game, especially for our incredible Somali kiddos. We're after a printer, cool literacy toys, and personalized notebooks to sprinkle some magic into our learning mix.

1.

Printer:

Think of a printer as our superhero sidekick. It helps us whip up bilingual reading goodies and snazzy visuals, turning our learning space into a cozy home away from home.

2. Literacy Manipulatives:

Get ready for fun times! We're bringing in word-building blocks and magnetic letters to jazz up English learning. It's not just about letters; it's about giggles, teamwork, and sharing our stories.

3. Notebooks:

Imagine each kid with their special notebook, a place to spill thoughts, shout out their Somali roots, and feel like a language superhero. It's all about building confidence and saying, "My story matters!"

Goals:

Reading Whizzes: With your help, we're aiming to ace reading, writing, and understanding the cool stuff by second grade's end.

Culture Vibes: Mixing in Somali culture makes our class feel like a cozy family and adds a splash of home to our daily adventures.

Team Spirit: Learning toys are more than toys; they're friendship builders. Our class is a tight-knit crew where everyone's got each other's backs.

Confidence Boost: Personalized notebooks turn our kiddos into language champs, ready to shout, "I've got something awesome to share!"
