My Project

Recent studies show a sharp uptick in the number of teenagers with mental illnesses, anxiety and depression. Students around the region, state and country are dealing with new levels of anxiety, new addictions and stressful social situations in ways that their parents or grandparents never had to.

Our students deserve to learn more about how their brains think.

They need to be given the tools to understand mental illness and disorders so that they can combat the negative effects on their daily lives.

These resources will do just that for my students. My hope is to equip my readers with an understanding of how their brains work, how they can confront dangerous thought patters and deal head-on with any disorders or issues in their lives.

Mr. Otte will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by August 4.
