With topics as varied as how music changes your brain and historical true crime, we've been able to hit interests for a lot of middle school readers. But that is doubly true with this project, which is encouraging students to learn more about their own mental health and to better undestand how their mental health and the mental health of others affects their lives.\r\n\r\nThe books in this project have made a dramatic impact in our library. Not only have they increased the circulation of our mental health section, but they have also decresed the average age of the books in that section. Before this project, most of the books we had dealing with mental health at a student reading level were written before most of our students were born.
