Reading Buddies for Budding Readers

My Project

My students love reading with reading buddies. I have a couple stuffed animals that sit in their matching book bin. Clifford goes in the Clifford bin, Skippy Jon Jones in his book bin... I would like to add more stuffed animal reading buddies to add to our classroom library. These buddies are motivating readers to go to the library. My first graders cuddle up to their reading buddies while independently reading and while at library center. I do not have many reading buddies at this time and would like to add more to the library.

Reading buddies can increase reading fluency, decrease anxiety, and add a bit of cuddly fun during reading.

I know reading buddies have made added to the classroom fun in my room. Please consider donating to this fun reading project.
