My Project

My students are amazing. Many of them are immigrants and from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. I am impressed by their mastery of multiple languages and their creative problem-solving.

I want to provide them with a diverse, engaging classroom library to fuel their ideas and imagination.

With these books, my students will develop their literacy skills through daily reading and reflection. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. In our book discussions, my students frequently ask for books that represent their lives and characteristics. These books will nurture my students' interests and enrich their learning.
