My Project

My fifth-grade students are curious and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and thrive when they have engaging, hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to make choices in their learning. As a Title I school, many of my students benefit from additional resources that make reading and learning both exciting and accessible. I am requesting a Convertible Sofa Bed, Book Sets, Rolling Storage Cart, Laminating Sheets, and more.

This year, I am transitioning from teaching only math to teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies.

I want to create a classroom where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to read, discuss ideas, and grow as learners.

Flexible floor seating will give students comfortable options during independent reading, partner work, and small-group instruction, helping increase focus, engagement, and student choice. A rolling cart will help organize and easily transport books, literacy materials, and instructional supplies between learning areas, making classroom routines more efficient and ensuring students have quick access to the resources they need throughout the day.
