Help me give my students a leveled classroom library. This collection includes both fiction and non-fiction book starting at the lowest reading level for first grade to the highest. Something for everyone!

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

By having a complete classroom library (fiction and nonfiction books), my students will be able to choose books to read for enjoyment, as well as, for learning! These books will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My students will be able to practice their reading skills and learn about the world around them.

All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind, as they are first grade reading level books.

Students will be able to choose books on their level, which will help them grow in their reading skills. They will also be able to choose books that interest them, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
