No matter how much space come between us, we will rise and overcome the difficulties presented to us at this time.
Even from home my students "come to class" ready to tackle the day ahead of them surrounded by the positive energy This group of students all have unique strengths, different cultures and unique interests. These students have all become a such close nit family this year and I won't allow distance to break that up. They are each others biggest cheerleaders and I have seen such a positive growth in their relationships with each other. They continue to grow, learn and support each other.
While we are teaching from a distance, I want to bring a familiar morning activity to my fabulous group of students. My fourth graders loved listening to a good read aloud and this is something I can bring to them at our daily zoom meetings.
Keeping an aspect of my classroom routine alive during this uncertain time, will help my students easily adjust to this new way of learning.
With so many unknowns, I hope to bring comfort and familiarity to my group of students that I know they will appreciate and enjoy.
