My Project

This professional development will allow me to participate in the 2025–2026 Read & Advise Service for Maintenance of Certification, where a Master Coach will provide expert, rubric-aligned feedback on my completed portfolio. Through this individualized coaching, I will deepen my understanding of accomplished teaching practices, strengthen my reflective writing, and refine how I analyze student learning and instructional decision-making.

I will apply what I learn by strengthening lesson design, aligning instruction more intentionally to standards, and using student data more effectively to guide small-group instruction, interventions, and enrichment.

The feedback will help me sharpen my use of formative assessment, differentiate instruction more precisely, and intentionally plan lessons that support diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities, English learners, and students who need additional academic or behavioral support.

As a result, my students will benefit from more purposeful, engaging, and responsive instruction. Lessons will be clearer, more accessible, and better aligned to learning goals, which increases student confidence, participation, and ownership of learning. Students will receive more targeted feedback, more meaningful learning experiences, and stronger opportunities to demonstrate growth.

Ultimately, this professional development strengthens my ability to provide high-quality instruction every day, ensuring my students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally while building the skills they need to succeed now and in the future.
