This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school holds a Read-A-Thon fundraiser every year. The goal is for each student to read one hundred books during the month. I am more than willing to bribe my students to read, which introduces them to different books and encourages a love of reading.

Who doesn't love earning prizes, especially for reading?

My students earn prizes like magic springs, erasers, pencils, stickers, small stuffed animals, and balls for every ten books read. This year, with distance learning, it will be more challenging than ever. Please help me to give my students the incentives they need to stay engaged and excited about reading. Your donation can help to spark a lifelong love of reading.
