My Project

In our classroom we use an app to help us pick students to answer and participate. This helps our classroom hear a wider variety of voices as students get randomly called on. Students earn rewards in our app and can see their learning progress. This helps build our community and culture by hearing multiple perspectives and rewarding each other for sharing.

The role of facilitating discussions and classroom routines often goes to a student who has volunteered for the role.

This promotes leadership skills and builds our community to hold each other accountable, rather than being teacher centered.
