Students entering my class are coming from many different schools, and do not know each other. Also, last year was almost fully virtual. Because of this, my students do not know each other, nor have they had many opportunities for hands-on physical projects. I am requesting 125 posters for an all about me project! I would like to give my students the opportunity to color and create all within the context of learning geography. Students will have individual posters that they will be able to use to describe and introduce themselves to their peers, all while creating a physical project, rather than a virtual one. It's time to get my students off the screen and onto paper again.
