Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is an after-school program. It is planned to create spaces for students to learn about other cultures as well as create a sense of belonging for newcomers. The club plans to meet once or twice a month (double sessions, so basically every week), and students will learn not only about cooking but also about cultural background, how to create menus and budgets as well. Table etiquette and much more. It plans to be a space for learning and engaging as well.

As it is an after-school club, there is not really a budget for it, so the idea is to be able to get the basic items here, and the rest we might be able to get by selling cookies or cupcakes so we can get the monthly materials.
