Raising Butterflies

Help me give my students a butterfly raising kit so they can hatch butterflies in the classroom.

My Project

Students in the Agriculture Exploration classes will raise butterflies in the classroom and then release them into the hoop house to help with pollination. We have a pollinator garden in our hoop house we need pollinators for. The butterflies will help with this pollination of crops. Students will get the opportunity to see metamorphosis in person in the classroom. Each student will get their own larva to raise and hatch. Once they are hatched, we will take them to the hoop house and release them. Students will be very excited for this project.
