This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, the scraping and dragging of chairs and desks creates constant background noise in our classroom. While it may seem like a small issue, these sounds can be distracting for students who are trying to focus, listen to instructions, participate in discussions, or work independently. Tennis balls placed on the legs of chairs and desks are a simple but highly effective way to reduce noise and create a calmer learning environment. By cutting down on these unnecessary distractions, students will be able to concentrate more fully on their learning, collaborate more effectively with classmates, and enjoy a classroom atmosphere that feels peaceful, welcoming, and conducive to success. This project will benefit every student who enters our classroom throughout the school year.
