My Students

My students are aspiring learners who want to take college-level AP Economics classes.

Most of my students are from low-income, immigrant households that believe in the power of education, particularly in this unprecedented time of uncertainty.

My students aspire to learn economics to make sound financial decisions in life.

Our school of more than 4,500 students is the most diverse school in NYC and learning financial literacy will surely help them to mitigate the financial inequality created by lack of access to quality economics education in public schools.

My Project

As the pandemic continues to hobble, more and more students are staying at home either due to illness or concern about being in a crowded public space.

Despite the challenge, students' quest to learn does not wane but becomes stronger.

The fast speed in this laptop will enable me to provide smooth instruction to students who dial into our classroom on Zoom. I will be able to use the Screenshare feature on Zoom so that students quarantining at home can see what I write on my digital whiteboard and follow along seamlessly. In addition, this laptop allows me to quickly load and show multimedia sources to students when we learn a new concept, tapping into students' audio and visual learning access points.
