This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To prepare students to be college and career-ready, teachers have to implement technology into their daily schedules. We use Chromebooks daily to teach reading, math, writing, and even coding. My students love working on their laptops to complete their lessons. Each student has specific lessons that cater to their specific needs. In order to be successful in these lessons, they need to hear the instruction that is given on their Chromebook. The microphone on the headphones will allow students to speak and share their ideas when we have virtual field trips or a guest speaker that presents to the class over Zoom. The importance of quality headphones is essential in order to get the best use out of the Chromebooks.

Providing 4th graders with quality headphones will help them stay focused and have quality sound while using their Chromebooks at school.

These headphones would give each student the opportunity to reduce surrounding noise levels, thereby increasing the capacity of focus and completion of work.
