This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Title I school has amazing students who deserve every opportunity to succeed. We are now open to students after many years without a library or librarian. This space has quickly become a space for learning, exploration, and creativity for our 7-12 grade students. To make it even more engaging, I'm creating a maker space with puzzles to challenge students' minds and foster critical thinking.

Puzzles are more than entertainment; they teach problem-solving, perseverance, and collaboration.

These skills are essential for academic success and prepare students for real-world challenges. With hands-on activities in our maker space, students will engage in creative learning that builds confidence and inspires innovation.

Our students face many challenges, but their enthusiasm for resilience shines every day. Having access to resources like these puzzles will transform our library into a space where they can explore, grow, and thrive. Your support will provide the tools they need to develop skills, spark curiosity, and make learning fun.

Together, we can turn our library into a hub of creativity and opportunity, giving our students the resources to dream big and achieve more.
