My elementary school is piloting the Foster Tales Puppy Therapy Program. Foster Tales is a mental health initiative that uses foster puppies to provide emotional support to students and staff. Research shows that interacting with puppies at school can reduce stress and anxiety, improve communication and reading skills, and increase attendance rates. This program also provides the foster puppies with a safe and social environment to learn and grow while they await their forever families. Incorporating these pups at school makes room at the rescue for more lives to be saved. Win-win-win!
This donation will be able to supplement the needed puppy pads, chew toys, and other supplies for the therapy puppies as well as the educational supplies for the students.
