Seeing their confidence grow in real time has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new reading materials, they were beyond excited. Many immediately recognized the pieces and asked to try them right away. The hands-on nature of these centers made learning to read feel fun and approachable, especially for students who benefit from movement and tactile learning. Even my reluctant readers were eager to participate and stayed engaged longer than usual.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our next steps include using these reading centers to support small-group instruction and differentiate learning. Students will continue rotating through the centers as we strengthen phonics skills, practice sight words, and begin blending sounds into words. These resources allow us to meet students at their individual reading levels while fostering a love of reading. With the larger, interactive screen my phonics lessons are more dynamic and engaging. With the touchscreen capabilities and vibrant visuals, my students are interacting directly with letters, sounds, and words, fostering a hands-on learning experience that is both fun and educational.\r\n\r\nThe larger screen encourages classroom participation. My lesson planning and delivery have become infinitely more efficient. This efficiency allows more time for me to focus on individual student needs. I am confident that this investment will yield long-term benefits for my students' phonics development for years to come.\r\n\r\nI am also writing to share the positive impact that the introduction of student privacy screens has had on my small group environment. The primary advantage of implementing the privacy screens is their ability to reduce distractions allowing students to focus on their own work while still allowing me to check their work through the cut-out in the front of the screens. \r\n\r\nEvery student learns at their own pace and these privacy screens offer a discreet way to accommodate this. Students who require more time or need to revisit material can do so without feeling self-conscious.
