This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My name is Jessie and I am a Speech Language Pathologist in Detroit, Michigan. I service a wide population/age range, from 2 years to 18 years. My students range from headstart to high school. Students I service may have a speech and language impairment, learning disability, autism, articulation errors, Down syndrome, cognitive impairment etc (to name a few). With this wide population comes a need of a variety of materials.

Materials in this project will support students creativity during story telling with the use of puppets, as well as maintain organization of materials.

Furthermore, materials in this project will assist with documentation writing and organization of paperwork.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
