With the new resources, students have been identifying their feelings through interactive play with the emotion puppets, using the colorful balls to practice deep breathing and mindfulness, and engaging in imaginative self regulate in the tent. These tools have helped create a safe and welcoming space where students can learn to regulate their emotions and strengthen their social skills.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their faces immediately lit up with excitement. They were eager to try everything at once especially the emotion puppets and the tent. I explained to them that these wonderful items were donated by members of our community who care deeply about their growth and learning. Their excitement quickly turned into creativity as they began making up stories with the puppets, sharing turns in the tent, and finding new ways to use the materials together.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these resources will continue to play a big role in our daily social-emotional learning activities.
