About My Students
Our school has a high level of needy students for various reasons.
We have a very small corner that has mats on the floor for students when they need to calm down. Justin thought it would be better to have a private and more comfortable area that is more sensory-friendly for students who have Autism. He worked with the Autism specialist to come up with a room and some items that are appropriate for an area that will be suitable for students.

We want to stand up and walk around the class and not have to sit at a desk all day. We are getting tired and its hard to focus, we need to move. We want Wobble chairs so we can move at our desks and not distract others and get into trouble.
We struggle with focusing when we are sitting still and often put our heads down or wonder the classroom or ask to get a drink. This is difficult for other students, the teacher and we are missing a lot of instruction.
Wobble chairs will let us sit at our desk in our chair while letting us satisfy our need to move.
We want to place wobble chairs in each of our classrooms giving students an option as to where they can sit. This will take a few projects posted so this is the first!
We start by placing these chairs in our Math and English classes and hopefully we'll get more for other classes!
