My Students

How often do you use your computer? Frequently? We do, too! We are constantly using our classroom computer to share much information with the entire classroom - as we stand around the one small monitor!

We are a low-income, public high school located in the state of Tennessee.

Our goal is to become well-educated, regardless of the fact we are not provided with funding for our theater department. We boast a large number of very talented students, some with aspirations of remaining involved in theater for a life-time, and others who simply appreciate the life-skills they derive from theater classes.

My Project

Many times, my students or I wish to share information with the classroom via the internet. We use our computer continually, but have no way for all 35 students in each class to view a single, small monitor. We would love the ability to project information to the entire class! Show and tell! We are wishing for a projector which can connect to our computer so images/videos can be projected for the entire class.

It would be amazing for our students to be able to share activities they've been involved in, footage they've filmed, sites they've discovered, etc.

So much can be learned through the use/application of technology, and I greatly desire for my students to have this tremendous opportunity so many other schools are already deriving benefit from!
