My students need a projector and a document camera to engage in our curriculum. We have a Smartboard but cannot use it without a projector.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our first grade class is full of enthusiastic learners! My students are coming from a very low income housing. About 70% of my students do not come to school with the necessary supplies to get to participate and engage in learning.

While at school, my students look forward to utilizing our materials while learning.

Although we have a Smartboard in our room, we have no document camera or projector. We cannot utilize the amazing Smartboard technology without a camera and projector.

When given the opportunity to utilize the projector and Smartboard in other classrooms, students remain engaged, motivated, and excited about learning.

My Project

Most of my students come from low-income families and need every chance they can get to have educational tools in their hands.

My students will be able to see what's on my computer screen with this awesome overhead projector and document camera, interacting with technology.

They are visual learners who enjoy seeing educational videos and learning through music and Smartboard interaction.

Your donation for this project will go toward the advancement of my first grade students who are learning to have an appreciation for education and a love of reading and math!

This will change my students' lives for the better because they will love interacting with each lesson and feel success at an early age!
