My Students

My math students really are great kids. Our district is 100% remote right now. (High school). Our kids are struggling to do work at home. We've provided Chromebooks, but they aren't the best.

The school that my students attend has over 42% of students receiving free or reduced-rate lunch.

Some of their parents work multiple jobs and aren't home a lot of the time. They have to attend when they are ill because there is nowhere else for them to go.

My Project

Kami is a product that will allow students to annotate pdf files. They can write on them with a stylus, or they can use their keyboard to type something, use their mouse to draw something or use a combination of them to write on top of a pdf file.

Math is hard enough to do from home, Kami will make it more understandable.

With Kami, they can type in work, write equations and most importantly for Algebra, graph! It really is a great program for my kids and I to use for successful remote math learning.
