This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I am a first year teacher. We are a Title I school; 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. A lot of students began the year with little to nothing in the way of supplies, so building up my classroom has been quite a task, especially learning what I need as a first year teacher.

One thing that motivates my kiddos really well, is getting to pick their own rewards!

They love picking snacks, stickers, cute characters, and things like that. This is my way of ensuring they knock out homework, and keeping them accountable for both lessons and expectations they need to fulfill on a day to day basis!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
