My Project

Since the start of COVID, schools around the country have been working to fill gaps and meet the needs of our students like never before. This includes not only academic needs. but things like social-emotional needs and behavioral needs as well. Several years ago, our school worked hard at implementing PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) at our school. This year, we are working hard to roll this back out in an effective way.

A part of this program is using Dolphin Dollars as a reward for students who are caught being respectful, responsible, or safe throughout the school building.

These dollars can be given to the students by any adult in the school. Then, once a month, the students get to cash those dollars at the Dolphin Dollar Store. Here, students will find things ranging from $3 all the way up to $100.

In order to keep this store "running" we need prizes. As a school, we are working to be able to add prizes to this store that our students have historically loved or things we have heard them talk about. Everything in this project will be used to help restock the store for when the students come to shop. We have found great success in this program and hope that you will help to fill our shelves with amazing prizes and maybe even a little motivation!
