My Students

My students have chosen to attend our public charter school to be apart of a school that is STEM-based that teaches students to be problem solvers and leaders. I teach at a school where the kids come wanting to try new things and try new things to grow both personally and academically. Our Charter school inspires, excites and empowers our student to embrace science, technology, engineering and math.

Our school receives one-third of the funding compared to traditional public schools in our area.

Having low funding makes it very difficult to acquire materials in our classroom for our students. By incorporating a variety of learning strategies, group work, flexible seating and learning options, students are able to have other opportunities to best fit their needs. They are truly an incredible group and I am so lucky and grateful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn!

My Project

The ink involved with this project will bring the students' work to life with color, instead of just boring black for everything they do. We love being able to add color and bring our work to life! Unfortunately with a printer comes needing ink. I hope that through this, the students will learn and grow. With this donation, you will be supporting the entire second grade! These kids need printed materials in order to do their work and grow into independent thinkers, not only in the classroom but in their world outside of the classroom.
