This table and chairs will be used as much small group instruction table to meet with small groups to teach math and literacy. Student focus and engagement with flexible seating options will increase as there is not as many distractions in a small group as there is in whole group instruction. With the support of flexible seating in classrooms, students are able to have a much more enjoyable educational experience. Research has proven that it is clear that learning environments can have a direct impact on student achievement. By donating to this project, you will give my students the gift of freedom in choosing where they will work best and will give my students the extra support they might need. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, bounce, lean, stand or fidget all while keeping their young minds alert and focused.
