This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is located in Chicago where 100% of the students receive free lunch. My school is located in a low-income community. Most of the students come from immigrant families, and many are also refugees new to the US. Due to limited resources, I am not able to provide my students with everything we need for an accessible classroom. My students are wonderful and work extremely hard.

Students are preparing for their history fair projects and want their writing to come to life printed for their poster boards.

Our goal is to make history come alive for our students by engaging them in interactive projects that involve researching, writing, and presenting historical content. However, to enhance the quality of these activities, we require materials such as printers, ink, and editing tools. These resources will enable our students to produce professional-quality written projects, edit and refine their work collaboratively, and present their findings in a visually compelling manner. By supporting this initiative, you contribute not only to the enhancement of our history curriculum but also to the development of crucial skills such as research, writing, and digital literacy. Your generosity will empower our students to delve deeper into history, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
