This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Band kids are the best. I know that is statement but from my experience it is true. Band kids show up before school, after school, or during lunch. They work when they need to, they work when they don't want to, and they never complain. When we are about to start they are moving as fast as they can not because they are afraid of angering me but because they want to get to work. I am impressed nearly everyday. I am thankful to work with them.

My Project

Time wasted walking to and from the library or front office could be used better. If a student doesn't have or can not find their music instead of either the student or myself making a copy after class I can just print it off. I can also scan all the sheet music into google and they can or I can print it off from home or out of the classroom. The distance from the Band room all the way to the teachers lounge is about 200 yards and add another 100 yards to the library. The Lexmark MX417de will be a huge help.
