I have an amazing, energetic, talented, and fearless group this fall. Very young having only played for a year and a half but very capable. They are simply put amazing. U.S. Grant is the largest High School. The largest Arts program. The largest Performing Arts Program in Oklahoma City Public Schools. We are 90% free and reduced lunch. We are inner city. I believe that we here at U.S. Grant can empower our students future through the Arts. Music opens doors into college that might otherwise be closed. Grant is a Nationally Accredited Turn around School. We believe that "Hard Work Pays Off". We believe that "Life is Full of Choices". That through the Arts the Hard work is fun and the choices are easier. We have grown from no Band programs 5 years ago into two Jr. High programs and a High School Program. We are growing faster than the district can keep up. We are thankful for any and all support.
