This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we currently lack a dedicated printer. A printer is an invaluable tool that would facilitate a more dynamic and interactive learning environment for our students.

One unique aspect of our classroom is the continuous influx of newcomer students almost every day.

These students bring with them diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Having a printer readily available is essential for us to provide these newcomers with physical materials and visuals at any moment. This immediate access ensures that they can seamlessly integrate into ongoing lessons, fostering a sense of belonging and reducing any potential gaps in their learning.

A printer would also enable us to supply newcomers with personalized materials that cater to their individual learning needs. From language acquisition resources to visual aids that aid comprehension, the ability to generate tailored materials on-site is invaluable in supporting these students as they navigate a new educational environment.

I am hopeful that you will consider supporting our classroom with a printer. Your generosity would have a lasting impact on the educational experience of all our students, enabling them to thrive in their learning journey.
