This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a high school math teacher guiding students through the complexities of NC Math 4, I strive every day to make learning meaningful and engaging. NC Math 4 is a rigorous course filled with modules, problem-solving drills, real-world applications, and cumulative projects. To give my students the best chance to succeed, they need consistent access to printed resources—practice sheets, guided notes, review packets, and individualized problem sets.

Currently, we don’t have easy access to a classroom printer, and relying solely on limited school resources slows down instruction and prevents me from giving students immediate, hands-on materials they need.

This project will fund a classroom printer, so I can print materials anytime they’re needed—without delays, long queues, or budget constraints.
