We did an initial math expo in our classroom. Students were able to explore the idea of making blueprints especially in making their own dream bedrooms or office, just like civil engineers do in constructing buildings or some infrastructure. I would be totally honest that I am a frustrated engineer but I believe on this students that they would develop their passion in engineering and become one of our foundations in the future. I am so happy that by using the ipad they have introduced their work in the whole class even those with special needs they have presented their work while they are on their seats. We explore also mechanical engineering as they build some battery operated cars. They even modify the car that no longer runs. They really have this creativity, critical thinking and I believe by just pushing them they will be able to achieve their dreams. The ipad really helps as I let them use it in our classroom to explore more and they said they want to no more which really give me the idea to push more. Again thank you so much. This will only be my first step to develop students engineering skills.
