Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We may be biased - but we believe we have the best kids around! Our school serves about 400 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. One of our goals this year is to build our enrichment programs and opportunities for students. We have invested in a 3D printer, poster maker, laminator, and other devices to help students develop and create their own inventions and devices.

We're hoping to add a sublimation printer for our students to use!

A sublimation printer is a special digital printer that uses heat-sensitive inks to print designs onto transfer paper. These projects let students see their exact drawings or portraits brought to life as they are transferred onto various surfaces.

Teachers can integrate the machine into various subjects, from art and design to science and math, fostering creativity and hands-on learning for students! Students can participate in the design process, fostering teamwork, creativity, and a sense of ownership over their learning environment.
