My Project

In Pre-K we are fortunate enough to have play time built into our day. It allows for the students to practice communication and problem-solving skills. It is the favorite part of their day and it could use an upgrade.

A kitchen set will allow the students to extend their play.

They can use it to be a chef or use it to delegate responsibilities. At the end of the day, the dishes need to be washed and put away. The pots need to be put away, and the food needs to be put in the refrigerator. These responsibilities will require the students to communicate, take turns, and solve problems, because not everyone can do the same job or all of the jobs.
