The supplies are being put to great use in my Intervention classes. The students are practicing their specific skills by highlighting them in words and writing them on dry erase boards. They are even using the crayons to illustrate examples of words that fit certain patterns. Then everything is organized in folders as evidence of progress and as a way to send home work that completes the home/school connection. \r\n\r\nThe stickers and animal crackers are also giving my students a final boost of confidence as they are rewarded for all their hard work. They love coming to Intervention and after my lesson they appreciate the snack and \"badge of success\" they get as they leave the room to go back to class. \r\n\r\nBest of all, I can see the progress the students are making in the \"check ups\" they complete at the end of each specific skill. It made a huge different at the end of the year. We were able to print the end of year assessments scores in color.
