With your contribution to "A Galaxy of Reading", my students will have access to apps that allow them to take their reading further than they could imagine. My students love to read and I would love to give them a chance to use technology to read this year, by giving a small group of students four tablets to use independently during our small group reading time while I work with other students in the class. Tablets are a great way to engage even the most reluctant reader. My students are young learners at a critical time where they still enjoy reading despite being at different reading levels. Some students face difficulty with reading and the project will provide a scaffold for those students reading independently.
