Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is the second home to 24 inspirational 4 year olds. My students may live in a high poverty community in the big city, but their spirit for learning and the joy they bring into the classroom every day is unrelenting. The neighborhoods they come from can be difficult, but within the classroom is a safe space where they can nurture their curiosity, and grow into wonderful children with bright futures. I am being sincere when I say that these children are an absolute joy to work with, thanks for stopping by!

My Project

I am requesting career related manipulatives to help our students make connections with the different workers in our community. These materials will help make a difference by exposing the children to many careers and give them a hands on approach while learning about the different community workers' important roles and responsibilities.

Your generous donation to our project will help and inspire twenty four Pre-K students as they learn more and more about the important work that our community workers do.

It would mean a lot to the students to be able to use these materials in our lessons about community workers. Your donation will help them greatly shape their understanding and further their curiosity. Thank you.
