My Students

I teach 7th and 8th Grade Pre-Algebra Students. My students range in abilities and basic mathematical knowledge. Math is subject that builds from one lesson to the next...one unit and even one year to the next. Many of my students struggle because they are 'passed on' from one year to the next without a solid mathematical foundation.

My Project

My students need additional resources to help them learn the topics that are covered in Pre-Algebra. Our district has provided curriculum, but it does not cover many of the topics that I teach my students. When topics are viewed as a review topic, or if they are simply not covered in the provided curriculum, it is up to teachers to find their own resources. Resources created by other teachers on the Teachers Pay Teachers website are exactly what I need, but am left to pay for those out of my own pocket.
