When I had to 'change gears' and switch to distance learning this past March, I was suddenly faced with the need for new sets of resources to teach math topics that I had been teaching for years. Teaching mathematical concepts to middle school students, when we are face-to-face in the classroom, has it's own set of challenges. However, there were many new challenges that I was faced with trying to teach geometric concepts with the resources that I had used in my classroom. Luckily, Teachers Pay Teachers has a vast amount of resources that make online teaching much simpler...but, this cost can add up quickly. Having a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers going into this new school year would open the door to so many resources that I am sometimes forced to walk away from, simply because I can not justify spending money out of my own pocket.
