My Project

Every day in my classroom, I work to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences for my students—from interactive lessons and digital activities to real-time feedback and creative projects. However, my current MacBook is no longer reliable. It runs extremely slow, freezes during lessons, and often interrupts instruction, making it difficult to keep students engaged and learning at their full potential.

I teach in a historically under-resourced community where our school prioritizes meeting students’ basic needs—providing support for food, uniforms, and even electric bills.

While I am grateful to have a school-issued MacBook, it no longer functions reliably. Despite updates and clearing space, it runs extremely slow, often freezing in the middle of lessons and causing unnecessary interruptions.

A new MacBook would allow me to deliver smoother lessons, and provide timely feedback that helps my students grow. With a reliable device, I can create interactive presentations, integrate technology seamlessly, and design lessons that meet the diverse needs of my classroom.
