Having this updated technology has made my lessons more engaging, helps me differentiate instruction, and create interactive lessons. My scholars are able to practice newly learned skills, work together, create projects and learn new skills as a group. \r\nThe technology has also helped increase students motivation and independence. Students are more willing to participate when they can interact with lessons rather than paper tasks. \r\nMost importantly the project has helped me develop interactive lessons that the students love. These are lessons that are specific to their learning, and it read them the problem and talks them through their work. My scholars also use their headphones for videos when I am absent, and for IXL. I use my Ipad to record my lessons so that they are still learning when I am gone. For IXL, it is another platform that has videos to teach how to do new standards. Teachers are able to plan richer problem-solving activities, introduce more complex grade-level tasks, and give students the tools they need to explore math in deeper, more meaningful ways. \r\nHaving enough calculators for state assessments this spring will be a game-changer. Students will enter testing with the same tools they've learned and practiced with all year, reducing anxiety and helping them demonstrate what they truly know.
