My students are 9th grade students with special needs. Their disabilities range from Autism, learning disabled, emotional disturbance and intellectually disabled. Each student requires a variety of learning styles in order to learn and retain materials being taught. Technology and kids these days go hand and hand. It keeps them engaged and allows them and myself to be more creative with lessons. Technology allows for remediation and allows for the use of the different multiple intelligences. It allows for the students to work on their own, as a group, shows their growth and allows for fun outlets to learn what they sometimes consider "boring" material. The majority of the school comes from a lower economic status and over half of the student qualify for free or reduced lunch. Thanks for going above and beyond to help support my students and I. It's greatly appreciated.
