My Project

I am writing to request funding for a few essential classroom tools to support my enthusiastic third-grade students. This year, my students are tackling a more rigorous curriculum while navigating big social-emotional milestones. To support them, I am launching a "Healthy Bodies, Focused Minds" initiative. This project focuses on integrating simple wellness routines, self-regulation strategies, and time-management habits directly into our daily classroom community.

The requested materials will support our daily transitions, independent work stamina, and active brain breaks.

Reusable water bottles and customizable stickers will promote healthy hydration habits and build a sense of pride in their personal gear. For sensory support and emotional regulation during quiet writing blocks, quiet stress balls will give students a discreet tactile outlet. A visible digital clock will act as a structural scaffolding tool to help them independently track our learning blocks. Finally, jump ropes will be used for structured movement breaks to help burn off extra energy, which drastically improves their subsequent seated focus.

Your generous investment will significantly enhance our daily classroom management and boost student engagement. By providing these practical resources, you are helping me teach my third graders invaluable lessons in self-care, focus, and time awareness. These tools will reduce desk anxiety, keep my students active, and foster a joyful, productive learning environment.
