Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. They benefit greatly from clear visual supports and structured instruction. Many of them build confidence when they can see tasks modeled and have visual reminders to guide their thinking. A portable easel will serve as an important access point during instruction, allowing me to clearly model academic tasks and display step-by-step expectations for students to follow.

This portable easel will help make learning more accessible and structured for my students.

During small-group instruction, I will use the easel to explicitly model strategies and display checklists that students can refer to as they complete tasks. Having a visual reference point helps students stay focused, understand expectations, and work more independently. The easel will also support whole-class instruction by ensuring all students can clearly see examples and modeled strategies. With this resource, my goal is to strengthen student independence, increase engagement, and provide clearer pathways for students to access learning.
